Report a blog as spam or as of offensive nature

Godinterest aims to have a spam free blogging platform, but due to the number of accounts/blogs, it’s practically impossible to shut down or suspend all spam blogs, even with our automatic spam control methods.

We encourage you to read through our terms and our privacy policy before filing a report with us.

If you come across a spam blog, please feel free to contact us. FYI, here’s a summary of types of blogs considered as spam on Godinterest:

Scraper blogs: blogs that take and re-publish content from other blogs and that is not owned by the individual;
Affiliate marketing blogs: Blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to affiliate programs and get-rich-quick schemes.
Warez blogs: Blogs that promote pirated copies of e-books, software packages, music, movies, games, etc.
Automated blogs: Blogs that are generated by computers, including randomly generated blogs, blogs that re-publish press releases, marketing material, search engine results, link dumps or any other mass-produced content.

We can proceed to the suspension of a certain blog if:

the content contains threats or incite violence towards individuals or entities
the blog violates the privacy or publicity rights of any third party;
the blog and its content are misleading readers about the author’s identity;

We are aware that there may be content that is personal in nature or feels invasive. Please note that Godinterest is a provider of content creation tools, not a mediator of that content. We allow our users to create blogs, but we don’t make any claims about the content of these pages. We strongly believe in freedom of expression, even if a blog contains unappealing or distasteful content or presents unpopular viewpoints. We realize this may be frustrating, and we regret any inconvenience this may cause you. In cases where contact information for the author is listed on the page, we recommend that you work directly with this person to have the content in question removed or changed.

Here are some examples of content we will not remove unless provided with a court order:

  • Parody or satire of individuals
  • Distasteful language
  • Political or social commentary

If you believe that you’ve found a blog that violates our terms, please submit a request to our team.
